It appears that that the prices have increased significantly since 2023 and the quality has not increased to match. The food was still delicious, but you can get better sushi in Seattle for the prices they are now charging. Hard to recommend at the new price point.

Food, service, ambiance were all as expected...great. My guests who were new to Nishino, were delighted with their order, and marveled at the freshness and flavor of their chef's choice sashimi plate. Not sure what happened to the other reviews here that had less glowing impressions of Nishino. Benn dining here off and on for over 15 years and have never been disappointed.

What an outstanding meal! Delicate flavors, beautifully prepared, and the service was outstanding. We tried some things we had never had before, and they were delicious. Tempura parsley and sweet onions, so delicate, and tasty. Who would have thought? The miso glazed, black cod was delicious, as were the pickles that came with it: lotus root, and mushroom with ginger. We also would highly recommend the albacore tartare with taro chips. For dessert, we had the shiso sorbet. The flavor was delicious, although the texture was more like chunky shave ice, not as smooth as I would have expected for a sorbet. One more really nice thing about this restaurant space: it is not noisy. One can have a thoughtful conversation, and not hear other conversations nearby. And there is no mood music to interfere. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing food, great service and simple clean decor at this Seattle gem. You cannot go wrong with their food and its quality. Pretty much every dish is authentic and served like it should be. Japanese food is an art form and yes there are the 'Nobu' of the world but Nishino excels in its culinary presentation across all its range of food presentations. Love it!

Sushi was fantastic. Sashimi chefs choice was really good, but be prepared for sticker shock. Yellowtail hamachi was literally so good. Highly recommend. Tempura oysters were not great. The tempura was too light to make the dish balanced- the oysters kept falling apart with the fry. Ambiance is definitely higher end- a great special occasion area (~100/person with apps drinks and sushi) Service was great too.
